Vinod Khanna Indian actor and producer of Bollywood Films die at 70. He is having a fighting with cancer.

He was part of Bollywood hits like Amar Akbar Anthony and The Burning Train. He was admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Gurgaon, Mumbai lately.
Vinod Khanna, a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Gurdaspur district of Punjab, was born on 6 October 1946. He was seen in 141 films between 1968 and 2013.

DUS  is Uncomplete Bollywood action film (director-  Mukul S. Anand ). The director died midway through filming, dropping the film half-done. The film cast was Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty in leading roles, with Vinod Khanna and Rahul Dev in supporting roles. Actress Raveena Tandon was playing her first negative role in this film. Model Rahul Dev was to make his first film appearance in this film.

Bollywood Career

Vinod Khanna made his first appearance in 1968 with Mann Ka Meet. He went on to win numerous awards, including the Filmfare award for best-supporting actor for Haath ki Safaai and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999.
In 1982, at the top of his film career, Khanna decided to leave the film industry momentarily to follow his pure guru Osho Rajneesh.

 

Policial carrier

Khanna joined politics in 1997 and got selected from Gurdaspur. During Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, he became Union minister for culture and tourism. He then became a minister of state in the Ministry of External Affairs. Khanna lost the 2009 election. He was elected again from Gurdaspur in 2014.
